Khurram Shahzad, MD and Linus A. Wodi, MD are pleased to welcome you to the opening of their new practice, Apopka Heart Consultants in Apopka, Florida.

Dr. Shahzad has more than 15 years of medical training in Cardiology and the subfields of Nuclear Cardiology, Heart Failure, Echocardiography and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Shahzad completed his medical degree at Khyber Medical College at the University of Peshawar in Pakistan and went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s –Roosevelt Hospital Center at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. Dr. Shahzad also served fellowships in Cardiac subspecialties at Montreal Heart Institute (Cardiology) and Massachusetts General Hospital (Heart Transplant/ Ethocardiography). A fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Shahzad has published a number of abstracts on Heart Health.

Dr. Wodi completed a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardilogy and Cardiovascular Medicine.  Dr. Wodi specializes in includes invasive and non-interventional cardiology.  He most recently served in a solo practice in LaGrange, Georgia.
